‘Our expert maintenance team work on a variety of projects from private customers requiring small building works, such as a leaking roof, to large scale retirement homes involving all our tradesmen including plumbers, engineers and electricians. Our contracts also require us to be available at very short notice and to attend Emergency Call-Outs.

Case study:Housing 21 2001 - present
Housing 21 provides supported living for the elderly. Cockrill & Braiden Ltd has been contracted on an ongoing basis to carry out general maintenance works, boiler repair, plumbing works, minor building and maintaining security systems, they even go down to the smallest details by changing light bulbs for the elderly residents.

Insurance
We have a great deal of experience in working in the demanding sector of Insurance and currently work under the Homeserve & Mowlem Aqumen schemes servicing Norwich Union and many other major insurance companies. The work we carry out varies from fire and flood restoration work to large-scale refurbishments. As a one-stop-shop for refurbishments we offer competitively priced services and a one-point-of-call management system.

Working for Homeserve we have supplied all of our building services, as well as sourcing specialist contractors, to complete specialist works from residential buildings to complete property restorations.

Healthcare
We have developed the specialist knowledge required to ensure all building control regulations for the properties operating within this industry are met to the highest specification. Where necessary detailed attention has to be paid to sanitary areas and areas requiring a high level of hygiene.

Case study: Arundel Care Services 2004 – present
Cockrill & Braiden have been contracted to undertake full building works, installation of fire alarm systems, complete renovations up to modern day standards including Registration Standards and Building Regulations. Arundel Care Services provide care in the community for those with challenging behaviour and learning disability.

Residential
Within the residential sector we carry out work for small, private homes to multi million pound, bespoke houses. Generally we specialise in interior and exterior decoration however we also offer services such as minor subsidence works, roof works, plumbing and electrics.

Case study:The Bond residence, Worthing 2006. Cockrill & Braiden took down the first floor stairs and landing ceiling including insulation and cornice and replaced with new including a plaster skim finish. We then redecorated the whole of this large open plan Hall, Stairs and Landing. (See testimonials)

Education
Cockrill & Braiden are contracted to maintain a school’s decorative order undertaking any specialist jobs such as lighting, plastering and rendering. We always strive to keep disruption to a minimum especially during term time and deliver results which are child friendly and in budget with the school.

Over the many years that we have worked with Windelsham House School we carried out large external and interior decorative works on the buildings including dormitories, communal areas and offices.

Retirement
The Cockrill & Braiden team has an exceptional reputation for their work in the retirement sector. Work is carried out to the highest standard to meet all necessary regulations in this sector. We ensure that each team member is able to competently work around the elderly and the infirm to minimise any disruption in their homes. We have found that familiarity with the maintained retirement home residents is key.
